Warranty
TechNormous supplies products covered by the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty. The warranty period and conditions may differ between products.
Any warranty information shown on a product page applies specifically to that product. Please contact us before purchasing if you need confirmation of the applicable warranty period.
What the warranty covers
Subject to the applicable warranty terms, a warranty may cover a product that:
- Is defective because of a manufacturing fault.
- Does not operate as reasonably intended under normal use.
- Develops a covered fault during the applicable warranty period.
What the warranty does not normally cover
A warranty will not normally cover:
- Accidental damage, misuse, abuse or neglect.
- Damage caused by liquids, fire, power surges or incorrect voltage.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, modifications or installation.
- Damage caused by using incompatible accessories, chargers or components.
- Loss of data, software, passwords or account access.
- Consumable components that have reached the end of their normal usable life.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s operation.
How to submit a warranty claim
Email admin@technormous.co.za with:
- Your name and order number.
- The product name and serial number, where available.
- A clear description of the fault.
- Photographs or a short video showing the problem, where possible.
- Any troubleshooting steps already attempted.
We will review the information and advise you of the next step. The product may need to be collected or returned for inspection before the claim can be assessed.
Inspection and assessment
A warranty claim is subject to inspection and confirmation that the reported fault is covered by the applicable warranty.
If no covered fault is found, or if the damage falls outside the warranty conditions, the product may be returned to you. Any inspection, collection or redelivery costs that may apply will be communicated before further action is taken.
Repair, replacement or refund
Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, the available remedy may include repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances, product availability and applicable consumer law.
Replacement products may be new, refurbished or equivalent where permitted and appropriate. We will explain the available resolution before proceeding.
Important information
Please keep your order confirmation, invoice, original packaging and included accessories. These may be required when processing a claim.
This warranty information does not limit any rights available to you under the South African Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
